Join the Committee - Make a Difference in Day Services Across the UK

We’re currently looking for two passionate and committed individuals to join our committee and help shape the future of day services nationwide.

The vacant role is for a Communication Lead – a key position that helps us share our message, connect with our community, and amplify the voices of those we support.

Being part of the committee means: Contributing to the ongoing support and development of day services across the UK. Gaining access to a network of peers for support, collaboration, and shared expertise. Playing a vital role in a team that values inclusion, innovation, and impact.

If you’re interested in learning more or would like to express your interest, please don’t hesitate to drop us an email – we’d love to hear from you.

The Role of the Committee

The APDS Committee is responsible for the delivery of the Association’s vision, for strategic planning in an ever-changing environment, providing ongoing support to members, the day to day management of Association business and the planning and delivery of Association events. The Committee meetings are all virtual, via Microsoft Teams. Committee members are expected to attend the Annual General Meeting, which is usually held during the Association’s Annual Conference (Autumn).
